The Hawkeye Motion Detector is a tiny wireless motion
sensor / light sensor that can be attached to the wall with
screws or self–adhesive strips. After motion stops, the sensor
sends an X10 off signal and the device switches off after a
pre–determined time, after the motion stops (1-256 minutes). A
built–in photocell can ensure that it operates only when it is
dark or only when it is light: you decide. A secondary function
sends an X10 on signal when it gets dark and then off again when
it gets light.
The sensor transmits wireless signals to the Transceiver Module.
The transceiver then transmits an X10 ON signal to the relevant
device.
The "switch-less" house
Install a Hawkeye motion detector in every room in
your house. You never have to turn on a light anymore and the
light will switch of when you have left the room. Not only does
this make your life safe and easy, but you will not waste energy
any longer by leaving lights on
. You can also have a sequence of
lights form a "path to your destination" and turn off
after you have passed - no looking for the light switch in the
dark. Ideal for safety on stairways and for nighttime
toilet trips.
