Automate
Fixed Lights
And keep your own
light switch!
·
Small enough to fit into a wall box behind a standard wall
switch. Only 46x46x17 mm
·
Affordable
·
Works with any X10 transmitter/interface
·
Light can still be controlled by a manual wall switch,
including dimming (requires momentary mechanism).
·
Does not require a neutral wire, providing simple 2-wire
installation
·
Now every light can be automated!
How it
Works
The LW12 Dimmable Micro Module can be mounted behind a
standard wall switch, even most designer switches. It is an X10 receiver
module that can be controlled by any X10 transmitter or interface. The
LW12 can also be controlled manually by momentary action wall switches.
The LW12 does not require a neutral wire to operate, so no new cabling
needs to be provided to the wall switch and installation is as simple as
connecting 2 wires in addition to connecting the wall switch.
The LW12 responds to the standard X10 commands like "All
Units On", "All Units Off", "All Lights Off" from any X10 controller set
to its house code regardless of unit code, or alternatively can be
controlled individually with unit commands such as "On", "Off", "Dim"
and "Bright".
House code and unit code are programmed using any X10
compatible controller. There is an E²PROM that stores the house and unit
code even when the power is cut.
