The IR7243RF can be used for interfacing your X-10 Home
Automation System with learning IR remote controls, such as our
8-in-1 remote or the Philips Pronto.
The new RF function allows the unit to respond to RF
signals from all X10 remotes, motion sensors, eliminating the need for
an extra transceiver module.
Can be used as a trigger for two–way controllers, in
order to activate scenes. X10 commands supported include Dim/Brighten,
All Lights On/All Units Off and Instant On/Off options.
How it works
Simply plug the Mini Controller into a standard 240V wall receptacle.
Then point your IR remote at the unit and control up to 16 units. X10
remotes and sensors do not have to be pointed at the unit as their RF
signal will travel through walls to the unit.
