The HR10 is a handheld remote control that expands your
X10 Wireless Remote Control System (other components sold separately).
Control your lights and appliances all around your house without leaving
your sofa! Just plug an RF transceiver module (TM13) into any nearby
power point and you'll have total wireless control of any device
connected to an X10 module or switch.
The Palm Pad Remote operates as many as 16 devices (or groups
of devices) and includes dimming and brightening buttons for use with
dimmable lights. Alternatively use the remote to trigger up to 32
different macros, giving you control of up to 256 possible devices in
your home!
The plug-in RF transceiver module receives the
commands from the remote control and instantly sends them along your
home's power lines. The system uses radio frequency signals instead of
infrared, so you don't have to be in direct line of sight for proper
operation. As long as the remote is within 30 metres* of the plug-in
base, it will work like a charm! The Palm Pad Remote requires 4 AAA
batteries, which are sold separately.
