Description

• Installed at the breaker panel/fuse box, prevents X10 signals from leaving/entering the home.

• Filters ‘street noise’.

• Able to couple X10 signals onto another phase. (three required for 3-phase homes)

• Eliminates any direct connection to the power–company–side wiring.

• Rated 240V/63A.

 

Filtering

Interference can be caused by appliances that do not conform to the C-Tick regulations, or by wireless intercommunication systems which use mains borne signalling. The latter transmit high frequency signals into the mains network. The filter/phase coupler suppresses noise caused by external factors, while the unique filtering techniques of the X10 system ensure internal interference is insignificant.

 

Coupling

The FD10 also includes the ability to couple X10 signals across phases. For installation with three phases, use three FD10 filters and couple the filters by connecting their K terminals to the next phase, respectively.
