     4-address Transmitter (micro module)

DIX1

The DIX1 is an A10 micro module transmitter that is wired to momentary switches (4 max). Each switch connected to the DIX1 effectively becomes an A10 Transmitter, enabling it to control your X10/A10 Receivers and Interfaces. The DIX1 is best used to initiate macros/scenarios or to control X10 receivers that are installed a distance away from the DIX1.

 Characteristics

  • Transmits ON/OFF and DIM/BRIGHT commands

  • Can control up to 4 X10 addresses

  • Is used with momentary switches

  • Supports status request to ensure command reception

Note: the DIX1 does not directly control a load; it is an A10 transmitter only.

Operation

The wires of the DIX1 module are connected to momentary switches, up to a maximum of four. Each switch controls an X10 address. A quick press of the momentary switch will transmit an X10 on or off command (toggle) - a sustained press will send dim/bright commands until the switch is released.

Installation
Phase and neutral wires are required to be connected to the DIX1.
